Dry Type Transformer

Recon’s manufactures Dry Type Transformer ranging up to 2000 KVA with voltage class of 11 KV. These Transformers are fitted in enclosed body for Indoor installations. Recon’s Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer is totally maintenance free and safe from fire as material used are metals, ceramics, fiber glass / nomex and resin. It is environment friendly as there is no oil, hence handling becomes easier and there are no chance of spillages and leakage and there is minimal nontoxic smoke in case of fire. Use of Class F insulation increases the heat bearing capacity & enables the use of the transformer in humid and chemically polluted atmosphere. Applications:-

The substitution of oil-filled transformers by dry type transformers is one of the most important steps towards it.
